In China, Mid-autumn Day is considered to be a symbol of family reunion. On this day, all the family members gather together at home to celebrate this special occasion. Last year, I could not celebrate the festival with my family because I was in university. However, this special day left a deep impression on me.

I still remember the atmosphere of that evening. All the students who could not go back home assembled in our classroom, having a party to celebrate this traditional festival. We tried our best to show our own enthusiasm. As an ethnic minority, I performed a peacock dance, which received warm applause. After the two-hour party, we went out to the playground and sat together to appreciate the moon because it is a tradition on Mid-autumn Day. We ate moon cakes, played cards, and listened to romantic poems recited by one of our classmates. In that harmonious atmosphere, nobody felt lonely or homesick even though we were far away from our homes.

Thanks to our classmates, I experienced such a colorful and interesting Mid-autumn Day at my university. Thus, I learned to value all the festivals I spent during my university life.

在頒布的《英語課程標準》(實驗稿)中,提出在英語教學的過程應加強充分使用現有的課程資源。筆者在教學過程中分析了使用不同課程資源的方法和策略。并根據新課標中提出的目標,強調在目前的英語教學中,教師如何利用這些資源并在課堂教學實踐中幫助學生,從而讓學生有意識地利用周圍的教學資源并形成自己的學習方法,以此來提高學生的綜合運用英語的能力。

一、開發隱性資源,進行情感感悟

由于新課改的改革,在目前的初中英語教學中,有很多教學課程資源都不具備直接的情感因素。所謂的情感因素就是通過教師與學生在課堂上的互動關系,讓學生產生些許的情感體驗,在課堂上教師可以通過某一教學內容和學生進行溝通,并積極開發和利用校內課程資源。校內課程資源主要包括教育教學設施(圖書室、語言實驗室、音像設備等)、多媒體、校園景觀等。教學中應積極利用校內課程資源,創設有利于英語教學的有利環境,為學生營造良好的英語學習氛圍。

例如:在校園學習環境的布置上,在校園的建筑物上我們可以適當地運用英語來標識一些告示或者是通知。在教室的美化上面,可以讓英語課代表組織學生在教室的墻壁上張貼帶有英語的圖片或者是卡片,讓學生隨處可以感受到英語的氣息,張貼學生自制的英語小報和墻報,使其更多地接觸和了解英語;張貼學生的繪畫作品,使學生獲得成就感;張貼學生的優秀英語作文,讓學生享受學習成功的樂趣。同時還可以改變教室布局。教師可以根據教學的需要把座位由“秧田”型變成馬蹄型、口子型、U型等形式。這可以增強師生、生生之間的交往密度,縮短他們之間的心理和空間距離,提高學生個體活動的空間和頻率,充分發揮學生的學習潛能。

二、發掘情感資源,促進情感體驗

教師在初中英語教學中,除了要合理有效地使用與課本配套的教科書以外,還應該積極利用其他課程資源,特別是廣播影視節目、錄音、錄像資料、直觀教具和實物、多媒體光盤資料、各種形式的網絡資源、報刊雜志等等。

例如:教師在教學中要善于利用課文中的情感資源,有計劃地組織內容豐富和形式多種多樣的課外活動,吸引學生們的課堂注意力。教師在教學中應積極創造條件,開展聽、說、讀、寫各項能力的競賽,開展朗讀、唱歌、講故事、演講、表演、英語角、英語匯報演出等活動,為學生提供更多的的語言實踐活動的機會。但開發利用校外課程資源應立足學生生活。積極開發和合理利用課程資源是英語課程實施的重要組成部分。

三、其他課程資源的開發與利用

英語教學除應充分利用圖書室、語言實驗室、音像設備、多媒體設備等教學設施為教學服務外,還應為學生創造語言實踐的機會,如成立英語角、英語俱樂部,組織英文歌曲和演講比賽、舉辦英語校園廣播等,給學生以展示自己的機會;讓學生在輕松的氛圍中大量欣賞原汁原味的英語文章,引導和幫助學生對英語知識進行自主構建。鼓勵學生從英語報刊、原著中獲取他們需要的養分。

例如:具體教學時,筆者每周安排1課時,充分利用當地的自然、人文景觀課程資源,比如說學校當地的風景名勝、博物館、紀念館等。從周圍的事物中尋找相關的信息,讓學生學會觀察與總結,從而找到學習英語的方法。筆者還根據某些節日(中秋節、七夕)或者是周圍發生的某些有意義的事或者是有價值的社會新聞中把相關的知識應用到英語教學中。這樣激發了學生學習英語的興趣和用英語的能力。

根據上文所言,教師在英語教學的課堂上,應該創設比較開放的英語課堂,使班級形成活躍的學習氣氛,讓教師與學生之間自由、積極地溝通,只有這樣才可能談到生成資源、捕捉并利用學生資源。教師在課堂教學中,應充分相信學生,放手讓學生獨立思考,自主探索,讓學生親歷知識的形成和發展的過程,并最大限度地在時間上、空間上給學生自主學習的機會。
