人教版五年級上冊第六單元和下冊第七單元都是寫人的文章,其中動作描寫是凸顯人物的一種很重要的寫作手法。五年級學生對人物的描寫比中年段時有了很大提高。但大量的習作中反映一個較為薄弱的共性問題,主要體現為動作描寫較單一、欠具體。孩子大多數只簡單地寫了做什么,沒有寫具體怎么做。不會把一個復雜的行為過程分解成一個一個具體的動作,從而更好地突出人物人物的性格特征或內心世界。因此,筆者對如何讓五年級學生對人物動作描寫更精彩進行了方法的探析。
動作描寫,就是對人物行為、動作的描寫。通過描寫人物做什么和怎樣做來表現人物的性格特點和精神面貌,凸現鮮活的人物形象。老舍先生也曾說:“只有描寫行動,人物才能站起來?!币粋€或一處成功的動作細節描寫往往勝過千言萬語的表白,使人物真實可感、栩栩如生。
一、巧觀察,善積累
第三學段的習作教學目標要求:“養成留心觀察周圍事物的習慣,有意識地豐富自己的見聞,珍視個人的獨特感受,積累習作素材。”①此外,于永正老師的《五重教學》中也提出要“重情趣,重感悟,重積累,重遷移,重習慣?!雹?/p>
進行有效的動作描寫首先要引導孩子從身邊出發,觀察人物復雜多變、連貫的動作,重視語言的積累,還有生活的積累和感受。此處的觀察并非走馬觀花,而是帶有目的性的。作為老師,我引導學生學會觀察每一步由幾個動作完成,把一個復雜行動分解成幾個階段,再把幾個階段的行動分解為幾個簡單的動作。例如體育運動時,孩子通過觀察其他人的腿部運動,從而體會寫腿和腳的動作的詞就很多?!疤摺⑴?、跳、蹦、滑、跨、蹲、蹬、踮、溜、走、轉、退?!睂W生在衛生值日時,觀察擦玻璃、掃地等情景。例如擦玻璃時,“撣玻璃,換濕布,哈氣,踮腳,抓窗柩,用手指摳,用干布擦?!睆亩形蛟趺醋鲞@一系列過程把事情寫具體。
學生平時對生活經驗與語言材料的積累,是學生對人物動作描寫寫作“素材庫”的自我建構的過程?!扒蓩D難為無米之炊”。引導學生積極體驗生活,參加各種有益的活動;培養學生勤讀課外書,多讀報雜志的好習慣;做好摘錄筆記,及時記錄好的構思;廣泛收集信息,尤其是關于人物動作描寫的資料,并分析整理。
二、引導分解,使用準確的動詞
俄國偉大作家托爾斯泰說:“人的動作是‘人的心里的鑰匙。”③不同的動作體現了人的不同狀態,要把人物的動作寫準確,令人感覺傳神、傳情。
“一個人從馬上爬下來?!薄耙粋€人從馬上跳下來?!薄耙粋€人從馬上跌下來。”同樣是描述一個人從馬的背上下來,“爬”字體現了那個人對馬的極度恐懼的心理便躍然紙上。改為“跳”就把一個勇敢的人寫活了?!暗弊肿屓瞬唤撓氲接锌赡苁邱R的性子剛烈,那個人無法駕馭從而跌倒的情景。
此外,引導學生在觀察人物時把一個復雜行動分解成幾個階段,再把幾個階段的行動分解為幾個簡單的動作,并選擇恰當的動詞寫出來。
有學生在習作中這樣描寫運動員賽跑?!?00米比賽開始了。小豪跑啊跑啊,一直跑在最前面。最后,他第一個跑到了終點?!贝藭r的描寫沒有過程,缺少具體動作,人物的特點不夠鮮明,文章顯得很空洞。我引導學生學會觀察每一步由幾個動作完成,引導他們觀察運動員的手臂、雙腳、身體有什么變化,思考每個動作之間有一定的聯系。
“400米比賽開始了,在跑道上的小豪就像離弦之箭向前飛奔著,只見他有力的雙臂一前一后地擺動著,雙腳越邁越快,很快便把對手甩在身后。他的身子向前傾斜著,像要倒下似的,奮力向前迅跑。跑到終點線處,他頭一抬,胸一挺,終于取得了第一名。
孩子修改后的片段使用了“飛奔、擺動、邁、傾斜、抬、挺”等一系列動詞,讀者就會在頭腦中形成小豪跑步時有聲有色的畫面,進而佩服他身輕如燕,奮力拼搏的個性特點。它顯示了作者在捕捉人物動作、表現人物形象方面的獨到之處。
三、揭示人物性格特點,表現人物內心世界
高爾基所說:“要使藝術作品具有令人信服的教育作用,就必須使主人公們盡可能地多做事,少說話”。 人的行為、動作是人的思想感情、性格特征最直接、最具體的表現。要引導學生從生活中選取、提煉最能反映人物個性特征,具有典型意義的人物行動。
“雨楊拿起黑板旁的抹布,蹲在水桶旁,用力上下搓著。隨后將干凈的抹布小心翼翼疊成方形,用手按住一邊,慢慢從左移到右,他弓著身,低下頭,那一絲不茍的神情就像是在雕琢一件精美絕倫的藝術品。 ”
在這個習作片段,學生使用了“拿、蹲、搓、疊、按、移、弓、低”等一系列東西,抓住雨楊的一舉一動去反映他愛勞動,做事情認真負責的個性特點。從而令讀者從心底里佩服他這種做事情的態度。
四、巧用適當的修辭手法
巧用比喻、夸張等適當的修辭手法可以使人物的個性特征更加突出,更具有深刻的典型意義。引導學生思考日常觀察到的動作,并聯系自己的實際生活體會人物動作描寫的方法,運用到習作用去。
“‘砰’的一聲槍響,他像離弦的箭一樣飛了出去,又像一只饑餓的獵豹一樣向前狂奔?!薄爸灰娝昧υ谔ぐ迳弦坏牛S即身子瞬間騰空而起,在空中劃過一個漂亮的圓弧,落入沙坑,雙腿彎曲,雙腳深深嵌進沙地?!泵鑼懪懿?、跳遠的句子都巧用了比喻的修辭,讓人對速度飛快的運動健將印象深刻和跳遠時選手騰空飛躍的情景歷歷在目。
