1 引言
英語應用文寫作課程是高職高專英語教學中的一門基礎課程，新課改中提出，高職高專學生需掌握必備的英語知識與應用技能，可以在日常涉外活動和業務活動中用簡單的口語或書面語展開溝通交流，要求保持語句通順、無重大語法失誤、表意清楚。在高職高專英語應用考試當中，寫作部分均是應用文。但在教學中，這一部分始終沒有引起師生們的足夠重視。
2 高職高專英語應用文寫作教學中現有的問題
2.1 學生英語知識儲備薄弱
經過調查發現，高職高專學生在英語科目的入學成績普遍較低。其中，學生們在寫作部分體現的問題大多為詞匯儲備量不高、語法基礎薄弱、文體格式錯誤較多。很多學生的文章都文不對題，表意不清。學生缺乏系統性學習，對該科目產生了畏懼的心理。
2.2 學生對英語應用文寫作的認識與理解不足
學生大多沒有意識到掌握好應用文寫作對他們未來應用于實際的重要性，因此，在學習過程中很多學生沒有認真學習應用文寫作，把它當成英語學習中可以被忽略的部分。還有很多學生認為，只要掌握了最基本的寫作格式就能很好的掌握英語應用文寫作，但他們還沒認識到英語應用文寫作還應當包含特定的語言特點以及語言語境。學生們在認識與理解上的偏差導致英語應用文寫作教學難以順利開展。
2.3 老師的教學方式落后
傳統英語應用文寫作教學中，主要是老師對英語范文展開解析，或者由老師點評學生的寫作。這種教學方式看重的是寫作的結果，沒有將英語寫作的過程當成重點。同時，一個班級通常由很多學生組成，人數過多導致老師教學壓力很大，在有限的時間里批改大量學生作業通常會讓老師們在批閱過程中出現很多錯誤。有部分學生在對待英語寫作作業時態度散漫，對老師批復的作業么有進行深入思考和完善，這使得教學沒有達到預期目的。

3.1 加強師生間討論與交流
可以通過師生之間的相互交流與討論來加深學生對知識的印象，還可以深入提高他們對知識的理解及運用能力。采取創新型的教學方式，例如，任務型教學法或者探究性教學法，可以讓學生憑借自己對問題的鉆研及反復實踐，實現他們對英語應用文寫作知識的掌握以及實踐寫作技能上的提升。老師在授課時，可以選擇對應的應的寫作題目，利用合理化分組的方式，讓學生們對題目展開解析和討論，讓他們在這個過程中自己明確應當在寫作時使用哪種題材或格式、語言風格。例如，老師可以擬立寫作標題，“關于IT公司求職信的寫作”，讓學生們分組討論，并結合求職信這一寫作體裁及IT信公司的自身特色與職位需求，完成對應的寫作訓練。
