其中一部分的語文學困生在其他學科表現優異，唯獨語文學科“瘸腿”，我們將其稱之為――學優生中的語文學困生：在高考的“指揮棒”下，如何在有限的時間內使投入得到有效回報幾乎是所有學生苦苦追尋的“成功秘笈”，在這種功利心理的驅使下，被認為“付出與回報不成正比”的語文學科便“理所應當”地被部分學生擺在了“不重要”的位置，學優生中的語文學困生便是如此。
另外一部分W生屬于各學科成績均不理想，是班級里的“后進生”，我們將其稱之為――“全科學困生”：這類學生都存在自卑心理，這種自卑心理源于他們成績的不理想，他們感覺自己不受老師重視，或是受到成績好的同學的排擠，有的甚至認為成績差使他們抬不起頭。這類學生雖然渴望學好，可由于自信心的缺失，他們常常感覺到自己能力不足，產生“我可能不是學習的料”的消極思想。
二、矯正高三語文學困生不良心理，是提高他們語文成績的保證
要想提高三語文教學質量，就要找到每個學困生的語文薄弱因素，對癥下藥，才能提高學生的語文整體水平。因此，能否做好“高三語文學困生”的轉化工作是衡量高三語文教師教學成敗的一個重要標志。
1.尋找需求點，消除“語文學困生”的不良心理
針對有功利心理、厭學心理，或是對語文學習缺乏興趣的學生，語文教師應傾聽他們的心聲，積極尋找他們的需求點：對于學優生中的語文學困生，應該讓他們認識到各科全面發展的重要性，從而激發他們的語文學習動力。對于全科學困生，在各科成績均不理想的情況下，應該讓他們明白，語文是我們的母語，只要你會說話，你就能學會，只要愿意投入時間，語文成績要想在短期內提高一個層次還是比較容易實現的。
2.抓住閃光點，培養“語文學困生”的意志品質
教師要善于發現這些學困生身上的“閃光點”，給予明確肯定、扶植，使之發揚光大。無論哪類“學困生”，意志薄弱是他們的共同特點。語文教師要善于培養“學困生”的堅強意志，捕捉他們身上的閃光點，使他們感受到進步的喜悅。一旦學生真正地相信自己有學好功課可能的時候，就會創造出奇跡。
3.凸顯魅力點，增強對“語文學困生”的感染力
學困生長期生活在受人歧視和嫌棄的陰影里，他們得不到應有的尊重和關心，久而久之，就與同學和老師在心理上產生對立情緒。針對這種情況，教師要用自己的熱情去打動他們、感染他們，努力為學困生創造一種民主、平等、寬松、和諧的精神氛圍，滿足他們的正當需要。同時，語文教師要借助課堂凸顯自身的魅力，憑借扎實的專業知識、精湛的教學技能，將語文課上得精彩，讓學生喜歡語文，并為之努力，燃起對語文學習的熱情。
三、找準高三語文學困生的教學突破口，是提升他們高考成績的關鍵
矯正語文學困生的不良心理，這是提升語文學困生成績的保證，更為重要的是，語文教師要找準高三語文學困生教學的突破口，才能收到事半功倍之效。研究發現，高三語文學困生最薄弱的環節就是作文。找到高三語文學困生的最薄弱環節，也就抓準了分數的最大增長點。隨著高考日子的日益迫近，學困生的學習壓力越來越大，不少學生仍為自己裹足不前的寫作狀況憂心忡忡。他們認為要想在作文上拿理想的分數，太難！
