寫作就像燒菜，有了原材料外，還要加些油鹽醬醋這些作料，燒制出來的菜肴才會色、香、味俱佳。學會“添油加醋”的方法，可讓作文增色不少。
語文教材本身所選的文章文質兼美，如果深入挖掘，就能發現自己有用的東西，可以作為寫作的作料。
作料1：教材中的名言警句
深入透徹地理解教材，就會發現，教材中的不少語句值得借鑒，直接用或者改編地用，可讓文章增色不少。如一名學生在《善待錯過》一文中引用了普希金《假如生活欺騙了你》中的詩句：
善待錯過，神馬都是浮云，一切都將會過去，而那過去了的，就會成為親切的懷戀?；蛟S我們并沒有錯過什么，只是錯過了一顆憧憬的心，拾起遺落的心，繼續奔跑在生活的路上。
這樣，她寫的文章內涵就提升了，不只是為寫讀初三而錯過了春游這事了。
初中六冊教材中有許多優美的、富含哲理的句子，類似主題的文章，定會給你啟發。
在文言文中，也有很多警句值得借鑒利用，讓文章耐人尋味。一名學生寫了《風景在有心情的地方》一文，寫的是中考前母親陪她一起去爬山，在爬山的過程中，既觀賞了美景，又增進了母女間的交流，結尾她活用了蘇軾《記承天寺夜游》中的句子，自然貼切，饒有韻味：
這個夜晚，很寧靜，也很充實，燈光鋪滿我的眼睛，我再也找不到煩躁的心情與沉重的壓力了。這是一個平凡的夜晚，平凡的風景，但由于看風景的心情不同，看到的與聽到的瞬息變成最美的風景。
何處無燈，何處無山巒，只少閑人如吾兩人者耳。
作料2：課外閱讀中的好文、好句
平時我們讀一些好的文章，因它動人的情感，或優美的語言，往往會有所觸動，這時，我們就要及時地將其摘錄下來。
讀了畢淑敏《愛的回音壁》后，學生對文中父母不懂教育孩子的現象引起了共鳴，我就讓他們寫以“我學會了自己走路”或“請讓我自己走路”為題的作文，學生不僅寫出了自己的真實情感，同時也引用了文章中觸動他們內心的句子。一個學生寫道：
我愿用我的雙手，去構建我的未來。相信我，有這個能力，請讓我自己走路。如果孩子在無邊無際的愛里泡得口眼翻白，我們應該學著去愛，不要被早早地剝奪了感知愛的能力。
文章具有自己的獨立思想，又引用了畢淑敏的話，用得恰到好處。
有了以上這些作料，還要講究寫作的“烹”法。一些同學寫的作文，能選取典型的事例寫，也寫得比較生動，有真情實感，但我發現文章總是少了一種新鮮感。這時候，可以發揮適當的想象，選取生活中或是想象中的事物，以虛寫實，讓文章的內涵豐富起來。
烹法1：從形似到神似
寫人物的文章，如何寫出新意來？在充分了解描寫對象的基礎上，還可以深入一層，提煉出人物的形象特點，從形似上升到神似，讓人物性格鮮明起來。
一名學生寫她的父親，他父親的外形是：頭發半禿，亮光光的；皮膚黝黑，也亮晶晶的；內在性格上開朗樂觀，富有朝氣。她就把題目定為“太陽就在我身邊”，這樣寫道：
溫暖的陽光灑滿每一個角落，慢慢地將我包圍，舒坦而漫長。我一直喜歡這種被陽光盈滿的感覺，充實而有安全感，所以一直苦苦追尋那一抹金色。我努力地尋找，直到心疲了才發現，原來太陽就在我身邊。
這樣既符合父親的性格特點，又寫出了作者離不開父親的深厚感情。
烹法2：化無形為有形
如何表達自己想要獨立的思想呢？如果直接表達出來，會顯空洞，你可以借用具體的事物來表達，類似的例子教材中也是比較多的，如高爾基的《海燕》，借海燕的形象來表達作者對革命先驅的贊美之情。
做到虛實結合，化無形為有形不啻是一種豐富內涵的方法。一位同學寫自己戰勝自卑、重拾信心的過程，引用蒲公英的自由飛翔和蛹破繭成蝶的故事，在文章結尾，她寫道：
從那天起，我不再整日低著頭，而是自信地仰起頭。我的文章成了老師上課的范文，我不再需要別人為我朗讀文章，因為我發現原來我的聲音是那么美妙動聽。奮力掙脫我心靈上的繭，盈滿力量，待我破繭成蝶后，定會自由地飛翔于藍天。這一課，我學會了飛翔。如今的我是一株心懷夢想的蒲公英，我是一只擺脫束縛的蝶，盡享自由，永遠忘不了這一刻的蛻變！
