本單元的話題是交通工具，本單元的重點是學習如何詢問和回答人們日常出行的方式，本單元的難點是學生能夠熟練使用所學的語言詢問并回答坐某種交通工具去某地。因此我覺得在課堂教學中，應該多創設情境，給學生提供綜合運用語言的機會。注意與學生的日常生活聯系，將目標語言運用于更多的真實情景之中，以加深學生對句型的理解。如B Let’s talk的教學，就以學生熟悉的話題How do you come to school?為切入點，詢問學生每周一是怎樣上學的？在詢問的過程中相應完成P16頁的Task time。在教學過程中創設適當的情景，不僅為學生提供了運用語言的環境，也能提高學生運用語言的能力，活躍課堂氣氛，學生比較喜歡，教學效果也不錯。
六年級的學生對交通規則都比較熟悉，他們思維活躍，已經具有一定的英語聽、說、讀、寫能力，在已有的學習經歷中，學習成就感和自信心的體驗讓多數同學逐步形成了穩定的興趣，但學生的個體差異也使兩極分化現象逐步顯現。本課我充分發揮教師為主導，學生為主體的作用，利用卡片，以訓練為主線，努力培養學生聽、說、讀、寫四項基本技能。兼顧后進生的學習狀況，給他們以更多的關心與指導，使他們也能在新的學習中，樹立自信。如教學交通方式之前先出示學生學過的交通工具，再引入到交通方式的學習，學生了解了交通方式的構成結構是by+交通工具后，就能自主運用，如by jeep，by car等，這樣新舊知識交融，也起到了溫故而知新的作用。
課堂教學的精益求精是我在今后教學中應該追求的，任何時候都不應該滿足于現狀。要隨時發現自己的不足之處，以便及時改正。比如，教學要面向全體學生，每上完一節課都要回顧一下，在這節課上是否仍存在著“死角”？課堂上的發言面是否達到了95％以上？學生們否能夠主動地開口講英語？只有不斷地反思，才能取得更大進步。

On Sunday morning I visited my grandparents with my parents. We went shopping together. In the afternoon we went fishing. We had a big dinner in the evening. After dinner, we watched TV together. We were very happy.
