The Mid-Autumn Festival has all interesting history. Long ago in one of the dynasties of China there was a king who was very cruel to the people and did not manage the country well. The people were so angry that some brave ones suggested killing the king. So they wrote notes telling about the meeting place and time and put them into cakes. On the 15th day of the 8th lunar month every person was told to buy the cakes. When they ate them they discovered the notes. So they gathered together to make a sudden attack on the king. From then on the Chinese people celebrate on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month and eat "moon cakes" in memory of that important event.
When the Mid-Autumn Festival is near, shop windows are beautifully decorated. Many "moon cakes" are displayed for people to buy. People send presents such aswine, fruits and "moon cakes" to their friends and relatives. In the evening of the day, they have a feast. After the feast, they go out to the garden to look at the moon. The children run and laugh on the streets.
It is believed that the moon is at her brightest on this night. Many poems have been written about it, and poets are never tired of reading and writing such poems. In Chinese literature, the moon of the Mid Autumn Festival has been pared to a looking-glass, a jade rabbit, and so on. It seems that Chinese literature takes far more interest in the moon than in the sun.

I think Mid-Autumn Day is an old traditional festival in China. Everybody likes it because it's a family get-together. You see it is called"Mid-Autumn Day", so it often comes in September or October. Firstly, I'd like to say something about the moon. I like it very much because I want to be an astronaut in the future. That day the moon is round, big, just like a beautiful plate hanging on the blue cloth. 農村中學生在英語學習過程普遍存在英語基礎不扎實、學習能力不強、缺乏信心， 和
對學校英語缺乏興趣等不利因素。農村英語教學一直是教師們關注的問題，農村中學生多數英語閱讀能力和聽力較差，隨之產生口語和寫作能力也不高的現象。
一 農村中學生英語寫作中的問題和原因。
常期以來，英語作文都是先學生完成，上交后由教師批改，用紅筆圈出錯誤的地方。學生拿到修改過的作文，看到滿紙的紅圈圈，學習積極性會受到打擊。這樣不利于學生興趣的提升。新課標強調要關注學生的情感，調動學生學習的積極性，激發學習的動機。同時，能使學生形成互相探討和合作完成學習任務的習慣。
張北縣S中學高二162班學生都來自農村，男女各18人。他們都重視英語的學習，但是基礎差，寫作能力弱。在高二第一學期，筆者作為本班英語教師通過訪談，統計了學生提出的英語寫作能力差的原因是：訓練方法不恰當，寫不好詞匯句子，以及興趣低是主要的焦點。因而加強寫作方法指導，加強詞匯和造句能力，增多寫作機會才是當務之急。但是高中教學任務重，課時緊，學生兩極分化明顯，都是不利條件。為了解決這些問題，筆者認為找到有效的作文訓練和批改方法是必要的。
二 教師方法指導，學生小組互助式作文訓練的意義。
為了調動學生的寫語寫作興趣和積極性，結合《高中英語課程標準》中"學生應提高合作學習，利用資源提高英語學習技能和策略...... "要求，筆者采用了分組作文訓練，互助學習提高的方法。具體的做法是，162班分成為六個學習小組，組長由英語優秀學生擔任，組員按比例分配。六位組長首先是教師培訓的對象，教師告訴他們每周一次或多次的訓練內容以及方法，然后讓這幾個組長當小先生。對組員的作文批改，然后組內找時間討論改正后，交教師指導。
這一過程進行一學期的時間。筆者也在這一過程開始前統計了第一學期高二全市統考162班學生的英語作文成績，以備和下學期統考作文成績對比。筆者將通過計算個人分數變化，全班平均分數變化來驗證這一方法的成敗。
三 本班學生互助式作文訓練的過程和效果。
這一方法在實施前，要求征得學生的同意。學生都大力支持，好多學生要自薦當組長來配合老師的工作， 最后評選出了六位稱職的組長，劃分出了小組。首先，不能占用課堂太多時間，主要是用好學科自習和課余時間。比如，在講解Book3 Unit 1 Festivals 這一單元時，學生得到的作文題目是： My Favorite Festival。于是，按排每周固定的英語自習時，組長第一步是組織組員進行構思，查閱相關材料，和收集素材。第二步是組員寫初稿，組員將構思用語言表達出來，組內及時交流和討論。有問題由組長提交給教師，同時要及時對學生問題反饋。比如有同學問中秋節如何寫，節日前加不加冠詞，還有時態是現在時還是過去時等等問題。教師都一一作答。第三步是正式稿，首先組長作出書寫方面的統一要求：字體要端正和規范，字母與字母，詞與詞都分開，不要擠在一起。注意正確使用英文中的標點符號，不要和中文標點混用。注意分段和大小寫的變化。正式稿不能有涂改現象，不然會影響卷面整潔。
組員寫好后，在組內互判互評，由組長評出不同分數。最后六位組長再評出班內最好的文章和最好的組，優秀的英語作文還讓每個同學學習，背誦或為報社和刊物投稿。經過一段時間的訓練，學生們習慣了這種方式的寫作訓練，大家提高了英語寫作的興趣，同時也提高了寫作水平。
在一學期小組互組式作文訓練中，四個小組評為優秀小組，三位組長評為優秀組長。不同水平的同學都有了提高。在高二下學期的全市統考中，162班英語作文提高5分。而大部分未進行作文訓練的班級成績與上次持平。通過對比，筆者發現這種分組互助作文訓練的方法是有效的，它能夠提高農村中學生的英語寫作水平和興趣。
四 結論與反思
通過對S中學162班的互助式作文訓練，結合合作性學習和任務性教學的要求，提高了學生合作式學習的能力，學到了提高英語寫作的一些方法。但在訓練和討論中，也有學生不主動參與，個別組有時紀律差，影響討論的效果。
總的情況來看，分組互助式作文訓練能夠通過寫作來帶動學生對詞匯，語法和句子的理解和記憶，學生能養成好的寫作習慣和學習習慣都是很有益的事情。歌德說過 "任何理論都是蒼白的，而生命之樹常青。"對學生光有說教是不夠的，只有讓他們多參與才會達到好的效果。
