一、了解文言文敘述的事件發生的時代背景
文言文敘述的事件發生的時代背景對學生了解文章中有關人物的情感、價值觀等內在方面有著比較大的幫助,對人物的言行舉止有著如臨其境的感悟,從而有利于學生對文言文定人物的行為判斷。如《閻典史傳》的時代背景是明朝末年,內容是江南人民對清軍民族壓迫的反抗?！懊鞒┠?清兵占據北京后,迅速南下略定江南郡縣。清軍攻下南京后,頒布了強迫漢人依從滿族習俗的剃發令,規定:凡清軍所到之處,限十日之內,盡行剃去前半部頭發,后半部依滿族習俗,削發垂瓣,廢棄明朝衣冠。‘留頭不留發,留發不留頭,違抗者處死’,江南人民紛紛奮起反抗”。[1]
