圣誕前夕
再過幾天，就是圣誕節了，圣誕節的氣氛越來越濃了。
大街上，許多花店水果店都掛上了圣誕的裝飾品，就連我家樓底下的那最平凡的小雜貨店都已經掛上了圣誕花環。變化最大的，那當然非公園、花店莫屬了。
在花店里，許多美麗的鮮花都改裝成了一棵棵圣誕樹。在公園里，高大的樹木都掛上了五顏六色的彩燈。
有些同學家里擺起了掛滿裝飾物的圣誕樹，戴著圣誕老人帽的人隨處可見。最引人注目的是那堆積在圣誕樹底下的一個個禮物箱。電視機、電腦、柜子上，都貼著圣誕老人的大頭貼。
走進中山路，就更為熱鬧了，圣誕節的前幾天晚上，人山人海，連馬路都被人熱鬧的人群堵住了，在中山路的最中央，一棵巨型圣誕樹聳立在路上。樹上那一閃閃的燈光，令人眼花?亂。每個店鋪幾乎都搞了促銷活動，大家都在搶購，使得中山路更加熱鬧了。
在學校，幼兒園里也掛上了彩燈，在游樂園里的設施，都貼上了小貼紙，有的還出現了圣誕老人不倒翁，有趣地和孩子們點頭微笑著。
學校旁邊的住宅區，物業人員一家一戶地給它們掛上圣誕花環、圣誕襪。
在商店，如SM，就搞了許多跟圣誕有關的上些活動，比如說，極地冰雪世界呀，圣誕主題涂鴉啦！

我的圣誕節英語作文：My Christmas Day
Chritmas is the day that Jesus Christ was born. people in the world celebrate and worship this day in his honor. The santa claus will come out and send presents for children. Christmas cards and decorated trees are all over the place. The carolling of Christmas songs echo through the air. I am not a Chirstian， but I also enjoy the atmosphere of Chrismas. christmas day-december 25-which celebrates the birth of jesus christ, the founder of the christian religion, is the biggest and best-loved holiday in the christian world.
according to the bible, the holy book of christians, god decided to allow his only son, jesus christ, to be born to a human mother and live on earth so that people could understand god better and learn to love god and each other more. "christmas"- meaning "celebration of christ "- honors the time when jesus was born to a young jewish woman mary.
mary was engaged to be married to joseph, a carpenter, but before they came together, she was found to be with child. because joseph, her husband, was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
but after he had considered this, an angel of the lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "do not be afraid to take mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the holy spirit. she will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
although the exact date of the birth of jesus nearly 2,000 years ago is not known, the calendar on the supposed date divides all time into b.c. (before christ )and a.d. ( a latin phrase, anno domini, "in the year of our lord.") for the first 300 years, jesus‘ birthday was celebrated on different dates. finally, in the year 354, church leaders chose december 25 as his birthday.

“叮咚”，門鈴響了起來。噢，慘啦！老豆老媽回來了。我的天啊，早不回來晚不回來，偏要這時候回來。我無可奈何地打開了門。他們眼前是這樣一幅景象：家里有如垃圾堆，墻上涂滿了雜七雜八的東西；電視機、發財樹、沙發、電腦，就連魚缸也慘遭“毒手”；自己的女兒手握兩瓶“噴雪”站在面前……我心里暗暗叫苦：“這回死定了。哎，引用徐老師的話，我這回真要 ‘屁股變面包’了……”誰知結果卻出乎我的意料之外，他們居然什么也沒說，還拿起剩余的兩瓶“飛雪”，互相打起了“雪仗”！

I like Christmas, it is just like our Spring Festival.
Maybe the Spring Festival is much more important and interesting than Christmas, but I like Christmas Day better.
Because we can spend time with our friends and classmates during Christmas.
When it is snowy, Christmas becomes much more lovely, just like in fairytales. I can imagine I am in a fairytale, the girl who sold the matches is my friend, the ugly duck becoming more and more beautiful and so on.
What a beautiful place! So we can also call Christmas “Snowy Lovely Day.”
On Christmas Day, shops are red and green. There are so many Christmas cards, Christmas hats, Christmas dolls and many colourful things. So shops look very beautiful.
We can give a card or a doll to our friends and say “Merry Christmas.” By the way, I think studying can also become much more interesting.

However, the chinese spring festival has no religious background while christmas has something to do with god and there is santa claus with white heard to bring children presents. The westerners send each other christmas cards for greetings while the chinese people pay a call on each other.
Nowadays, some of the chinese youth has begun to celebrate christmas, following the example of the westerners. Perhaps they do so just for fun and out of curiosity.

On the twenty-fourth of December, all children are very excited. Usually they are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready. The younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or fireplace, so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in. The greedy ones even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents. Later that night, father or mother will put presents in the sock, and leave others at the side of the bed.
在12月24日這天，所有的小孩都很興奮。他們常常被（父母）早早地趕上床去睡覺，以便他們的父母能準備好禮物。年幼一點的小孩認為圣誕老人將從煙囪或壁爐里下來，所以他們掛起襪子，方便圣誕老人把禮物放進去。有些貪心的人，為了能得到更多的禮物，甚至把枕套或布袋掛起來。晚一些時候，爸爸或媽媽將禮物放進襪子，并把其他禮物放在（孩子們的）床邊。
