The spring festival, also called Chinese New Year, enjoys a long history of over 4,000 years. Unlike other festivals, the Spring festival is a period of time, rather than a single day. It startsfrom the first day of a new year and ends on January 15th, , of course in the Chinese lunarcalendar. But people usually start to celebrate the Spring Festival on the day before the NewYear's Day, which is called "New Year's Eve", when all members of a family get together, have abig meal together(called Nian Ye Fan in Chinese) and watch the Spring Festival gala, indulged inthe especially warm and sweet atmosphere of reunion.
There are a variety of activities during the Spring festival, among which at least three deserveyour special attention. First, when the new year's first bell rings out the old year and rings inthe new, adults and children get out of the houses and light crackers and fireworks, whichdecorates the sky into a colorful and magnificent stage.
Then, on the morning of the New Year's Day, people get up very early to stick couplets, onwhich all good wished are presented. Meanwhile, the red color of the couplets adds much to thejoy of the splendid festival.
In addition, we have to visit our relatives from door to door as of the first day of the SpringFestival until the Lantern Festival, which is supposed to be a conclusion of the whole SpringFestival.

Far and away the most important holiday in China is Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese New Year. To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the West. the dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar rather than the GREgorian calendar, so the timing of the holiday varies from late January to early February.
To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the lunar New Year’s Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally is called the Lantern Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the country.

“爆竹聲中一歲除，春風送暖入屠蘇……”時間過得真快，眨眼間，正月初一了，新的一年到了。
早早的起了床，給大家拜年。帶著深深的思念，給姥姥撥出去了電話，眼圈不自覺得紅了，可是我卻笑著。一圈下來，收到的壓歲錢不少了耶！
不久，二爸一家也到了，我們共同吃了頓午飯——餃子。飯后，二媽要小妹妹雪兒的姥姥帶兩個孩子去北京廟會逛逛，弟弟便邀我同去，無奈之下我只得同意。在去姥姥家的路上，小弟弟又悄悄對我說：“姥姥說話可能會難聽點，你別往心里去！”我沒說什么，只是很自然的一笑。
到了。我們下了車，在家里逗留了一下便趕去了廟會。我們乘的是616路班車，車上的人真不是一般的多，可一站又一站，沒幾個下車的，弟弟見我還站著，不干了，非要我坐在他那里他站著，我自然也不干，推辭了幾次后，見旁邊一位站著的阿姨有些不耐煩，快要順勢做下去的樣子，我也就坐下了。直到到了站，才發現人們都是來廟會上的，而廟會所在的那條街上車水馬龍，簡直不用抬腳，后面的人流會順勢把你推到門口去。我們五個人，其中三個孩子。
買好票，我們就進去了。小時候，估計是20xx年吧，我來過一次，那次的經歷不少，可唯一記得清楚的就是一個迷宮，我們走來走去卻怎么也找不到出口，最后到了終點，得到了一個竹蜻蜓。這次我們又見了那個迷宮，只是票價漲到了20元/人，姥姥皺著眉頭出了60元買了三張票讓我們進去了。好吧，我不得不承認：我從未見她笑過一次。也許是長大了的原因吧，轉了幾圈就找到了出口，別的小孩都在兜兜轉轉的走啊跑啊，而我們不到3分鐘就尋到了終點，有點無趣的感覺。
接下來就是挑選紀念品的時間了。首先弟弟發揮哥哥的責任為另一個現未在北京的小弟弟買了份禮物——他最喜歡的玩具車，紫色的，超漂亮！然后一行人見到了一個賣紅豆奶茶的店鋪，姥姥又買了三杯奶茶，可雪兒的剛好是最后一杯紅豆的，我們只好要原味的了！眼前就是游樂場，我們眼前一亮，奔了過去。在兩人的要求下，我們坐上了“海盜船”，閉上眼，這次和那次可不一樣，上次是轉圈圈，這次是上下擺啊扔啊爽啊……下了船，我們還沒回過神來。然后弟弟就想去扔飛鏢了，結果被姥姥一頓數落，好心情頓時灰飛煙滅。直到見到各式各樣新奇好玩的小東西我的心情才再度好起來。
小妹妹看上了一套迪尼斯公主小玩偶，我們便陪她一同尋找，最后買下了；而弟弟要了一個“憤怒的小鳥直升機”。兩個孩子都買了東西，只有我兩手空空，他們便催促我快找點東西。不遠處有一個小攤子，是賣本子的，我心跳快了一拍，直撲那小鋪，無奈都太精致，又都太貴，一轉身，是一個10元2本的小店，就從那里找了一個黑色外套還帶點粉色邊的“storybook”，呵呵，喜歡極了！路上，弟弟又買了一條“水晶龍”，上面鑲滿了假鉆（因為沒有蛇啊~）。還剩20元沒花，他又看見了一個賣立體拼圖的小店，只有20元了，他朝思暮想的那個“水車小屋”超復雜，要45元，姥姥買下了；而那20元就給我買了個“鋼琴？吉他”，好喜歡??！
時間不早了，差不多該回家了。依依不舍的向這里告別：我會永遠記住你的！

大家都有過過春節吧？春節是熱熱鬧鬧的節日，我是非常喜歡過春節。今年的春節，是在老家過的。
正月二十，我們的餐桌上擺滿了食物，一共擺滿了四桌。紅的紅綠的綠。我們幾個小孩子看見那么多美食，都流出了口水，準備大吃一頓。這就是所謂的年飯。當然，年飯主要不是吃，而是一種熱鬧的形式。我們幾個孩子剛吃完年飯，就迫不及待的跑去外面買小鞭炮玩。
到了正月二十一，就是拜年的時候，簡單地說就是向大人問聲好，然后像大人“索取”紅包。如果你認識的親戚非常之多，那你就發財了。
正月二十二，這天要忙起來了，第一個項目就是去山上拜祖宗，拜祖宗的的形式有很多種，可以拿著幾根“香”去，也可以直接拜，還可以燒錢作紀念。我拿著一大沓冥幣，拿上打火機。一千億一張。我拿了很多，然后燒掉了，這種感覺就是爽。
接著，我們還拿出長鞭炮出來燃放，一個大叔燃放以后，漫不經心的走出來，隨后聽見:“啪啪啪…”的聲響，還有一些小孩捂著耳朵，但還是流露出了笑容。從山上爬下來，這一折騰，可累了。我睡的很香。
正月二十三上午，也就是除夕這年，要貼新對聯。帶著一鍋糯米膠（烹飪出來的那種），走遍屋子，把舊對聯撕下來，然后貼上新的，我負責撕下舊的。雖然這個工作簡單，但也不能亂撕，要對整齊，然后撕下來，不然的話就會撕成不規則形狀，貼不上新對聯。
除夕晚上。我們每家每戶都要放煙花，我們也開始放了。有一位大叔叼著煙擺好煙花，不緊不慢的燃放了。我連忙把耳套帶上，這才開始了“節目”。在持續了3秒后，一束火花直速上升，在空中爆發出一條條彩帶，接著又是一束火花沖上天，在許多煙花同時上升時，天空立刻映出煥然一新的景色……
直到看完春晚，我們才休息，這一天真累啊。

春節時僅有以上幾種食物，當然不算是豐富，像古代祭神祭祖用的糕點———蜜供、薩其馬等，不僅是北京地區滿蒙等少數民族食品，亦是北京人家中必備的食物。一些小康的北京人，昔日還有除夕夜食魚的習俗。魚必須是鯉魚，最初是以祭神為名目，后來則與“吉慶有余”的吉祥話相聯，魚既是美食，也是供品。
至于除夕之夜的餃子，其中的素餡餃子要用來敬神，大家吃的則是肉餡的；生活不富裕的人家，則以肉、菜混合為餡。即便最窮的人家，過年時吃餃子的“程序”是不會少的。在餃子、年糕這些眾所周知的美食之外，“老北京”人家還要打“豆兒醬”———一種由肉皮、豆腐干、黃豆、青豆、水芥等等做成的涼菜，色如琥珀，類似于“肉凍兒”。此外還有“芥末墩兒”，這是用來佐酒和開胃的涼菜。節日中人們食用油膩食品多，易于“生火”、“生痰”，這些涼菜可以彌補這一缺陷。

除夕之夜，忙碌了一天的外婆把豐盛的年菜擺滿了一桌：魚香肉絲、宮保雞丁、紅燒甲魚……但令我最興奮的是居然有海鮮在桌子上。不一會兒，大伙兒都到齊了，一個個入了座。合家團聚，圍坐桌旁，一起吃年夜飯，個個喜笑顏開，相互舉杯敬酒祝福。話語聲、碰杯聲、歡笑聲……聲聲悅耳，句句動聽，組成了一曲美妙的交響樂，在除夕的夜空中蕩漾。

過春節時，我們不僅可以體驗到包餃子的樂趣，還能品嘗到餃子的美味。每當春節來臨，我就有機會湊熱鬧幫大人們包餃子。我先學著大人拿一點和好的面團，用搟面杖把面搟成厚薄適中的圓形，再把拌好的餡放上去，最后用面皮包上餡，捏一捏，就做成一個美味的餃子了。
我看著自己包的餃子，口水都快流三千尺了，但我還是忍了忍饞勁兒，繼續幫大人們包餃子?？粗矣H手包的餃子一個又一個地橫空出世，心里美滋滋的。我創造了它們，它們是否應該叫我“爸爸”?當餃子煮好時，看著那“光滑扁潤”的餃子，我不禁垂涎三尺，品嘗著自己包的餃子，心里甭提有多開心了。
過春節時可以串串門，逛逛親戚，快一年沒怎么來往了，加深一下感情是很必要的。親戚們還會給我壓歲錢，雖然不多，但總也可以買些書、文具和需要的東西。當然，也可以偶爾買幾本小人書，買一些早已心儀的小玩意，滿足一下自己的欲望。讓我們去看看小人書，玩玩小玩意，放松放松平時學習時緊張的心情。
在城市里，一年中只有春節期間才可以放鞭炮和煙火，我們這些男孩子們可以過過癮了。
