《Journal of Genetics and Genomics》本刊是中科院遺傳所和中國遺傳學會共同主辦的全國性學術期刊，1974年創刊，2000年改為月刊，96頁。國內外公開發行。我刊是中國百種自然科學核心期刊之一，在我國生物學界擁有良好的聲譽和廣泛的讀者與作者隊伍，所刊登的高水平論文被國內外多家檢索系統收錄。
《Journal of Genetics and Genomics》1996年和2000年均獲中科院優秀科技期刊二等獎，1997年獲國家優秀期刊三等獎。目前中、英文稿件均可刊登，歡迎廣大海內外作者用英文撰文投搞。讀者對象為：農林牧漁業、基礎醫學、動物學、植物學及生化等方面的科研、教學、管理人員、圖書情報人員和大專院校師生。
